I’m Victor Clark Mullins. In 1990, I designed and implemented a series of workshops for a group of high school students residing in the five boroughs of New York City. The workshops were created to assist students with their college preparation, covering a range of topics from academic performance to preparing for their freshman year in college. In 1993, I was invited to facilitate a series of workshops for a group of high school students residing in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. I accepted the offer and created a title for my workshop series – Making the Right Moves.
Since its inception in 1990, I have assisted students with admission and enrollment into over 250 colleges and universities. Today, I facilitate the College Prep Consulting workshop series for middle school and high school students. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. I received a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University in New York, New York. And I received a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from New York University. While I serve as the Associate Dean in the College of Business at the University of Illinois, I continue to facilitate the College Prep Consulting workshop series. I am committed to assisting in the recruitment, admission, enrollment, retention, graduation, and career development of all students. I encourage you to attend one of my workshops and purchase my workbook - your initial guide to your future.
