ANTI OXIDANT
Resveratrol exhibits antioxidant and antiproliferative activities in vitro. A number of potential health benefits, including reduced risk for cancer and heart disease, are thought to be associated with consumption of Resveratrol.
ANTI CANCER
| Resveratrol affects the processes underlying all three stages of carcinogenesis, naml, tumor initiation, promotion and; progression. It has also been shown to suppress angiogenesis and metastasis. Extensive data in human cell cultures indicate that Resveratrol can modulate multiple pathways involved in cell growth, apoptosis and inflammation.

CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH
Many findings that Resveratrol also imports multidimensional benefits on the cardiovascular system. On the basis of its high Resveratrol content, moderate consumption of red wine has been advanced as a reason for the relatively lower cardiovascular mortality and morbidity in French populations with considerable cardiovascular risk factors, phenomenon known as the French Paradox. In animal models, oral administration of Resveratrol for 2-3 weeks as well as acute pre treatment with Resveratrol have been shown to reduce myocardial infarction size an improve LV function after globalischmia / reperfusion injury exvivo and regional ischemic injury in vivo. Reduced myocardial oxidative stress, reduced apoptosis, and enhanced capillary formation have been proposed as underlying mechanisms of Resveratrol induced cardio protection.
BENEFIT ON OBESITY
Researchers say Resveratrol may hold the secret to being fat. A new study in Nature magazine says Resveratrol helped mice live as long and as well on a high fa diet as mice that ate healthier foods. Resveratrol shifts the physiology of middle aged mice on a high calorie diet towards that of mice on a standard diet and significantly increases their survival. These studies point to new approaches for obesity.
