As soon as your flowers are delivered take them out of the box they have arrived in. Leaving them wrapped, cut about an inch off the bottom of the stems. Put each bunch in COLD water for about 5 hours (leaving them to soak longer will not hurt them up to 24 hours). Once they have soaked remove the wrapping, and arrange. If you are going to arrange your flowers in water add the flower additive to cold water in a vase before putting your flowers in. It is best to keep the greens out of the water. Greens that grow on flower stems can create bacteria if they sit in water. Your flowers will have the longest possible life if every day you trim the stems and change the water they are in.
