FAQ
1- I just got more Flowers that I have ever seen in my life…. Now what?
As soon as your flowers arrive it is best to trim about an inch off of them. Put them in cold water with the flower food that came with your package(s). It is best to leave them in the packaging they came in. Let them soak for a few hours. Unwrap your flowers and arrange them how ever you would like.
(See our flower care page)
2- Where do these Flowers come from?
Our flowers have been picked fresh from a farm in South America. They will arrive (or already have arrived) in the same packs that the farmers put them in. Delivering flowers this way cuts the handling and time it takes to go from the farm to your door, assuring that the flowers our customers receive are the freshest and longest lasting flowers available.
3- Why do I have to place my order 3 days before they can be shipped?
We require orders 3 days in advance so we can let the farm know how many flowers we will need. By giving 3 days notice we are able to ship ONLY fresh flowers. Other flower companies keep flowers on a shelf for days at a time before they are sent out. We relay the shelf life to our customers.
4- Is GiRoses.com a charity?
No we are not. GiRoses.com is a subsidiary of Floral Fund LLC. GiRoses.com was formed to thank the troops of the United States for their dedication and bravery in defending our country. We work very closely with Operation Troop Appreciation, which is a 501c3 charity. Every purchase on GiRoses.com generates a donation to Operation Troop Appreciation. Floral Fund LLC. has donated 10 million dollars worth of gift cards to Operation Troop Appreciation to distribute to troops with the help of America Supports You (ASY is an organization created by the department of defense to support troops and charities that support them).
5- Am I able to use multiple gift cards or promotional codes for one order?
No, the only gift cards or promotional codes that are available for GiRoses.com are meant to be individual gifts for the recipients, and were meant to be used one per order. If you have more then one gift card you are welcome to make separate orders for each of them. Promotion codes may be used by many people and by the same person more then once but are not meant to be combined with gift cards or with any other promotion codes.
6- I do not see my favorite color flower, or type of flower can I place a special order for them?

10- What can I do to make the most of all these roses?
Yes! There are several ways to make the most of your roses.
A bunch of roses can be tied tightly at the bottom of the stems and hung upside down. Let them hang for about two weeks (depending on the climate you are in it maybe longer). When the petals are no longer soft to the touch they are thoroughly dried. Arrange them how ever you would like and spray them with hair spray (hairspray will keep them from crumbling).
Rose petals contain oils that many find calming relaxing and romantic. You can collect the petals as they fall from the flowers and sprinkle some in a hot bath (make sure to take them out of the tub before drain so you do not clog your plumbing).
There are many recipes to make your own potpourri. Try searching “potpourri recipe” in your favorite search engine and choose one appealing to you. This can be a great project to do with children!
