We do not offer the ability to send voice messages to more than one email address. However, your personal email service provider may allow you to set up “rules” that can auto-forward your emails to another account. Please contact your email provider for more information on setting up rules for your email.
Please login to the My Account section of our website, using the credentials you entered at checkout, and make sure that you entered your personal email address correctly. After updating your email address and clicking "Save" the instructions will be re-sent automatically. Additionally, this instructional information is accessible from the "Support" page of the "My Account" section of our website.
Any type of email account will work for our service. To receive notification and audio file on your handheld device, your device will need to be able to receive email. Optimally, your personal email account will also be set up to receive HTML emails, instead of just unformatted text.
Yes. You will need to set your home phone to no answer, and have it forwarded to our service. If you have issues setting this up for your home phone line, please contact your service provider as only provides service instructions for cellular carriers. Charges may apply when you forward your landline phone if forwarding is not part of your original phone service package.
Any phone can forward your voicemail to our service. Any smart phone or handheld device that receives email, and can play audio files in .mp3 or .wav format, will work to receive the email and listen to the voicemail. This service is primarily for cell phones. For landline phones please contact your service provider to determine the code to forward your voicemail to Charges may apply when you forward your landline phone if forwarding is not part of your original phone service.
No, all messages will be sent via email, as there is a 160 character limit with text messages.
Yes – you can forward any of your voicemail as they will now be delivered as email in your personal account.
After signing up for service, you will need to re-record the greeting for your voicemail box through our automated system. And, to make sure caller’s leave a message that is optimal for transcription, we recommend reminding them to speak clearly. For example, your new voice message greeting could say, “Sorry to have missed your call. When leaving your message, please speak clearly as your voice message will be transcribed by SeeVoicemail and sent to me as email so I can get back to you faster.”
No, our fully automated system will convert all your voice messages into text and send them to you as email.
The convenience of reading voice messages instead of listening to them is something most people prefer, and is a huge help in maximizing your response time to any voicemail. And you will now be able to get your message, and respond to it, no matter where you are – in a loud area, a business meeting, or anywhere that taking a phone call would not be possible. Additionally, all your voice messages will be easily searchable, archive-able, and printable as they will be stored in your personal email account. And in case you ever want to listen to the audio message, we will attach the original audio file in .wav or .mp3 format to your transcribed email – your choice!
